Costume 17th Century Garter - Khokhloma

Inspired from a Khokhloma wood painting, the garter is a great accessory for reenactment costumes. Tie around the calf or thigh, the ties are extra long to accomodate every body type. Made from linen and embroidered with Egyptian cotton. This garter matches our Khokhloma pocket. 

Khokhloma is a style of Russian painting from the 17th century thay featured golds, reds, and blacks. It was found on wooden table ware and furniture.
