Meet the Ravens!

Meet the talented makers who bring our handcrafted products to life

a raven in trees, celtic knotwork, in art nouveau style

I started Ravens as another name in 2017 (The Garden Artist) as just a hobbyist who began to really dislike working for others and having to follow their rules. I don't like rules. I made fairy gardens, teacup gardens, played with polymer clay, and made garden signs. all things that were true to me. I met my now ex-business partner and we turned my hobby into a fledgling business, taking on the DIY revolution by having mutliple make and takes and events, as well as kits to buy and make your own. (Kit N Craft) Then...life happened. A fire, the pandemic, and a toxic relationship put everything on hold. In 2022 we started again, but with something that was truer to us: A witchy shop geared toward helping others heal through nature, the way we had. (2 Crafty Ravens) When my business partner left to move back to Utah, we decided to part ways completely, and I took Ravens to a place I envisioned. Not only a witchy shop, but a full apothecary. Now we are The Crafty Ravens, a collective of makers passionate about our craft.

Each of our Ravens are family or people I have collected over the years of vending at markets. Each person brings a unique handmade media that embraces the values of our shop: Natural materials with a witchy, celtic, or pagan theme, priced so that it is accessible to everyone. We are proud to 100% woman-owned and operated and LQBTGQIA+ friendly.

Meet Mom!

Meet Mom!

Master Sewist

Aka Ashta, my step father's pet name for her. Retired early from the then Sprint/Nextel, Mom lives in Kansas and spends most of her time in the epic sewing room she has built in her retirement.

Starting with a Viking Diamond, she began embroidering... a long time ago...and now has a 15 needle Ricoma "Matilda" as well and a serger, a room tailored to be her space for ease of storage and work, and an array of hoops that would make any embroiderer envious.

She has been a lifetime seamstress and taught my sister and I to sew early on. Her passion is sewing and literature, she is a damn good cook, as most midwestern mom's are, and has 2 rascally pups she adopted this past winter.

She is the master behind all the embroidered delights you will see at our events and on the website.

Meet Becca!

Meet Becca!

Wire-Wrapping Officianado

Becca came into my life as a customer at an event. I was by myself, which at the time was the norm, and was swamped trying to answer questions and take money and help people at the potion station. A customer had a question and she piped up with an accurate and well said answer. I jokingly said "you're hired!". She bought a few things and left. 2 weeks later, the last weekend of that event, she stopped in again when I was less busy and we immediately connected. She told me that she did wire-wrapping and we discussed her helping in the booth for a trade of selling her things. 6 months later we are besties, she moves to North Carolina, the traitor, and adopted me as her mom. She will be opening Ravens out in NC when the time is right, with her art being the focus. Her version of our shop will be witchy forward which is authentic to her.

Becca has a crazy pup and is on a healing path to find and be happy with herself and the body she was given. She is also a fantastic photographer, and is learning how to forage and ID plants.

Meet Rachel!

Meet Rachel!

Owner, Operator, Herbalist, Ceramicist, Artist

I am the owner The Crafty Ravens! I am a plant enthusiast with ADHD and a knack for creating things. I make most of the things you see in the shop: Teas and tinctures, clay pieces, candles and incense, ritual herbs and oils, earrings and chain necklaces, stickers, runes, pendulums, and most importantly the bulk herbs. The herbs are grown in my yard or foraged along the west coast, but mainly in the PNW, my home.

I LOVE to hike and be outdoors, I love working with my hands, I love taking care of my little family. You can summon me by placing books, dragons, plants, or coffee/chai in a circle.

I have 2 grown kids, an amazing partner, 2 orange chaos demons, 2 ex-stepkids, and 2 adopted kids. I told you. I collect people.

Meet Jill!

Meet Jill!

Master Beader

Jill is my oldest friend, having met in middle school, we have weathered all the things in life. She lives in Missouri and is the creator of the tree of life sun-catchers. She also writes all of our blogs and is rather brilliant at it! She is an amazing artist and photographer but rarely has the time or energy to pursue those things.

Jill works full time as a warehouse supervisor and is married to my brother from another mother. She and Wil have a herd of cats and dogs, and an adult kid who is only a couple of years younger than my son. She is very family oriented and is most comfortable at home or at her sister's, playing video games, beading, or enjoying a DND adventure.
