Collection: Potions (aka Tinctures)

Herbs are a great way to heal naturally. Mother nature has provided all the medicine we need in the form of growing things. Compounds in different plants are extracted in alcohol (in this case, vodka), and those compounds, when taken correctly and over time will naturally heal and alleviate symptoms of common illnesses. 

Why not just use pharmaceuticals? Because, essentially, the big pharma companies are doing something similar. They extract the medicinal compounds and synthesize and concentrate them in order to mass-produce them and sell them.

Using the plant directly(teas, poultices, etc) or indirectly (as in tinctures, oils, etc) takes a little longer to build up in your body, but it is far better for it. Practicing a healing regimen with herbal remedies will accomplish the same thing more gently and sometimes permanently.

Before starting any herbal remedy, talk to your pharmacist about any contradictions if you are taking pharmaceuticals. Talk to your doctor for a diagnosis and be sure you tell them if you are planning to start any natural regimen. I have to say that this is not meant to treat medical issues because I have to. Tinctures are made with gluten-free 40% alcohol by volume. Do not consume if you have alcohol allergies or an addiction to alcohol. Follow instructions and recommended dosages exactly. Most are not meant for children or babies, unless otherwise noted. Do not take while pregnant.
